We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Credit Risk Analytics group. This role is essential for maintaining the Credit Data Mart (CDM), providing documentation, and ensuring quality assurance. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new reporting and dashboards, automating existing reports, and ensuring accurate data representation.
Responsibilities:

Develop and automate reporting and dashboards for the Credit Risk Analytics group and stakeholders.
- Evaluate, test, validate CDM outputs, and perform reconciliations.
- Gather business requirements and create user documentation.
- Support internal application programming changes and daily data loads.
- Manage issue resolution and remediating data quality issues.

Facilitate changes to a controlled data mart environment, adhering to SDLC processes.
- Provide Quality Control and Assurance for monthly deliverables.
- Assist internal/external auditors and regulatory agencies with their requests.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
- 7-10 years of experience in financial services as a data analyst, programmer, or database administrator.
- 5+ years of experience writing complex T-SQL. Project experience migrating legacy SQL Server Applications to Azure is a plus.
- Experience in compliance, audit, or quality assurance is an advantage.
- Training/certification in MS SQL Server products and Business Intelligence tools is preferred.
Skill Set:
- Working knowledge of distributed applications with technologies such as SQL Server 2016+, ASP.NET, SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
- Robust understanding of banking product portfolios and associated analytics.
- Experience with large-scale data remediation projects, including issue identification and resolution.
- Proficiency in writing and modifying complex SQL.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in a technical context.
