About the Role - Product Designer

As a Product Designer at Rise8, you will lead in crafting end-to-end user experiences that drive impactful change. Responsibilities include:

• Guiding clients through design-thinking and user research processes.
• Shaping holistic solutions that address user needs through deep expertise in user research, UI design, and service design.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products and services.
• Mentoring others, championing best practices, and elevating design culture across organizations.

About SkillBridge Internship Program

The Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge internship program is available for military service members transitioning from federal service to the commercial industry. We offer a 40 hr/wk apprenticeship, working alongside our professionals in product or business operations. Key details include:

• Length: 120-180 days preferred
• Location: Remote or on-site (Tampa or LA)
• Roles:
  • Product: Cloud Infrastructure/Cloud Platform, Security, Application
  • Development: Product Manager, UX Designer, Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, Security Engineer/Security Analyst, Data Engineer/Data Scientist
  • Business Operations: Brand, Marketing, Sales, Administration, Executive Leadership

Qualifications

• Currently on active duty and eligible for SkillBridge.
• Possess a growth mindset, grit, resilience, and determination to overcome obstacles and achieve goals.
• Preferred: Entry-level experience or certifications relevant to the applied role.
