Senior Machine Learning Engineer: In order to execute our vision, we are expanding our team of top-notch machine learning engineers. We seek developers passionate about deep learning technology, eager to prototype state-of-the-art neural net models and launch these models into production. Our ideal candidate is a hard worker with experience in building machine learning projects, capable of planning scalable data pipelines, and moving swiftly while taking ownership of their projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and apply ML models to production use cases, including designing neural networks, data gathering, training, deployment at scale, and performance analysis.
• Write and maintain scalable, performant, and secure code that is shareable across platforms.
• Contribute to the product and core backend systems by executing improvements and enhancing engineering standards, tooling, processes, and security.
• Develop novel ML algorithms for large-scale applications and conduct metric-driven research experiments to enhance model performance.
• Provide mentorship to junior ML engineers and facilitate their onboarding.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams while adhering to data maintenance best practices and security guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience building production-scale ML models with proficiency in modern frameworks, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Python and/or shell scripts, particularly for data analysis, along with experience in distributed systems.
• Ability to make reasoned trade-offs in feature design and lead end-to-end development of new products, with deep knowledge in at least one area of machine learning, such as computer vision or NLP.
• Commitment to high code quality, automated testing, attention to detail, and passion for correctness.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to define solutions collaboratively.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Expected base salary ranges from $160,000 - $250,000, with actual compensation varying based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
• Employees are eligible for a total compensation package, including potential stock options.
