In this role, you will be responsible for establishing a system/data catalog, identifying data/metric owners, and managing these artifacts on an ongoing basis while building relationships across Marketing and Business Unit owners. This position will involve reviewing and recommending improvements for processes and technology, as well as working with cross-functional teams to identify relevant data sources and maintain analytical models for advanced and replicable analyses.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish a system/data catalog, data lineage map, and business glossary to identify data/metric owners and manage artifacts.
  • Partner with departmental business owners to ensure data quality and alignment with business and governance processes.
  • Research the current and target data states, defining a path for transition and creating presentations to illustrate strategies.
  • Support third-party vendor integration, data migrations, and business process validations.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and documentation to ensure adherence to policies and data standards.
  • Develop and implement digital tagging for tracking digital marketing efforts and campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with web analysts and marketing partners to ensure implementation requirements are met.
  • Design, develop, and implement innovative data governance practices with cross-functional teams.
  • Act as the primary contact for the customer database and identify opportunities to enrich customer data with vendor system integrations.
  • Work with teams to identify relevant data sources, perform data engineering, and maintain analytical models.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Analytics.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in related fields, including:
    • Designing and implementing data collection databases.
    • Data protection and control.
    • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data using various technologies.
    • Drafting reports based on data findings.
    • Advanced SQL experience for data manipulation and insights.
    • Implementing quality control procedures.
    • Working with business and technical teams.
    • Experience with Agile methodology and familiarity with JIRA is a plus.

Technical Competencies:

  • Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Snowflake, and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools, marketing automation, data visualization tools, and web analytics platforms.

Remote Work and Location:

  • This position does not require relocation, but candidates within a radius of Boca Raton, Itasca, and Austin need to work in the office a minimum of two days a week starting September 2024.
