Senior Data Engineer - Managed Services

This Senior Data Engineer position is a member of 3Cloud's Managed Services team. He or she is responsible for ongoing development, support, escalations, and proactive maintenance for our client's Azure Data Platform solution through the Managed Services team's processes, procedures, and tools. As a Data Engineer, you will be a critical part of our core team that is essential to the success of our Managed Services division.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead support of client's Azure Data platform and Power BI Environment, including response to escalations and incident analysis.
• Consult on solutions in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure ML) and Power BI, including governance, strategy, and report development.
• Design and deploy data pipelines, models, and AI-driven solutions for various industries.
• Proactively mentor junior team members, providing feedback on their work and performance.
• Communicate ticket status, troubleshoot issues, and follow up with clients. Build relationships with client teams.
• Create and maintain documentation for each client's environment, promoting best practices.
• Participate in estimating work and prioritize effectively, escalating when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent certification and experience.
• 3+ years' experience with data and business intelligence solutions (e.g., ADF, SQL DW, Synapse, Databricks, Power BI) or other BI tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, verbal and written communication skills, and client relationship experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with a commitment to personal development.

3Cloud offers competitive compensation. Your final base salary will be based on factors such as skills, education, experience, and geographic location, with a salary range of $94,000—$129,000 USD.
