Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built, and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years. Anduril’s Analytics team is focused on modeling our internal data into reusable entities that generalize how Anduril operates. From those entities, we build workflows, dashboards, and metrics that drive better and faster decision-making. You will work with stakeholders from across the company to understand how Anduril functions and model our data to create the digital twin of our operations.

Who You Are: We’re looking for people who love ontologies—defining domains and writing the code that puts those models into action. Ideally, you are passionate about the next generation of defense technology and love building efficient and understandable data models. You prioritize velocity and are interested in pushing the frontiers of what analytics can do within an organization—think data applications rather than just dashboards.

You Will:

  • Lead the building of Anduril’s ontology for a specific domain such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, People, and Sustainment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and write code resulting in Secure, Timely, Accurate, Trusted, and Extensible Data Models.
  • Proactively seek out problems that can be solved with data and work with the organization to implement solutions.
  • Become a trusted resource for Anduril leadership in enhancing organizational effectiveness.

You Will Love This Role If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in an analytics-focused role (Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, Analyst/Consultant) with a strong engineering background.
  • Motivation from our mission to solve the biggest problems in defense.
  • A passion for data modeling, often reading authors like Kimball or Inmon or engaging with modern data modeling blogs.
  • Drive for business impact as a self-starter; you prefer quickly building an imperfect data model used by many over a perfect one that goes unused.
  • Experience in cross-functional projects with a mix of technical and user-focused workflows.
  • Expertise in SQL and experience with programming languages like Python.
  • Proficiency with data stack tools: dbt, Redshift, Looker/Tableau, Palantir Foundry.
  • Empathy for users, striving to understand their perspectives.
  • U.S. Persons status (required to access export-controlled data).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

US Salary Range: $150,000—$225,000 USD. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on various compensation factors, including experience, education, and skills. Actual offers may vary. In addition, highly competitive equity grants are included in most full-time offers and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.

Benefits:

  • Platinum Healthcare Benefits: Full coverage for you and significant coverage for dependents.
  • Basic Life/AD&D and long-term disability insurance, with options for additional coverage.
  • Generous holiday calendar and highly competitive PTO plans.
  • Family Planning & Parenting Support: Includes support for fertility, adoption, and gestational carriers.
  • Mental Health Resources: Free 24/7 access to therapy and other wellness services.
  • Professional development stipend for all employees.
  • Daily Meals and Provisions: Breakfast, lunch, and stocked kitchens at many offices.
  • Commuter benefits and relocation assistance where applicable.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan (traditional and Roth options for U.S. roles).

The recruiter assigned to this role can provide specific compensation and benefit details during the hiring process. Anduril is an equal-opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. We encourage individuals from various backgrounds, including recognized minorities, women, Veterans, and those with disabilities, to apply. If you are passionate about working on impactful problems, we'd love to hear from you!
