ML Data Engineer

We are looking to bring on an experienced Data Engineer to join Eight Sleep’s machine learning team. This role involves:

• Monitoring production machine learning systems to ensure performance and reliability.
• Developing big data ETL pipelines for model development and evaluation.
• Managing and curating datasets using the 10 PB of sensor data collected, including tools for monitoring incoming sensor data from clinical studies.

What You Need To Succeed:

• 4+ years of experience working in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, including coroutines, NumPy/SciPy, and Pandas.
• Experience with AWS services relevant to machine learning and data engineering, such as EC2, SageMaker, S3, and Kinesis, as well as SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
