We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join EDO, the TV outcomes company that is revolutionizing how we measure Convergent TV advertising. By integrating real-time engagement signals with advanced decision science, we aim to enhance creative and media performance for top brands, TV networks, entertainment studios, and ad agencies. With offices in Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco, this position is open to fully-remote candidates, but those who prefer a hybrid arrangement are welcome at any of the offices.

The Machine Learning Engineer will be part of the Data Science team, focusing on the production deployment and maintenance of internal data and modeling products. This role involves hardening proof-of-concept and exploratory code into reliable components of EDO’s production systems, requiring planning and architecture skills, along with solid engineering experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Migrate components of our existing modeling frameworks from batch-oriented to continuous training and monitoring.
  • Diagnose issues with legacy models and pipelines; decide what to maintain, rebuild, or replace.
  • Expand our collection of internal modeling building blocks.
  • Lead large, high-priority, cross-functional strategic projects, driving impactful decisions.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience with MLOps, especially in continuous model training and monitoring.
  • 4-6 years of overall development experience.
  • 3+ years of Python experience writing clean, reusable code for Data Scientists or production systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (primarily Snowflake), with experience using Python to interface with databases (heavy use of SQLAlchemy Core).
  • Expertise in a variety of modeling techniques, preferably including both traditional methods like GBMs and regressions as well as experience with deep neural networks.
