Machine Learning & AI Engineer

We are looking for a Machine Learning & AI Engineer to join an award-winning startup energy management organization based in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position offers a competitive salary of up to $180k and is focused on evolving AI systems, maintaining, fine-tuning, and adding new rules to models over time.

Academic Requirements/Training:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Solid understanding of data processing and analysis tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Familiarity with model evaluation metrics and validation techniques.

Responsible for the following:

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models aimed at optimizing energy management.
• Maintain and enhance existing AI systems by fine-tuning models and implementing new rules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable AI solutions.
• Conduct experiments and analyze results to improve model performance.
