Expert Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist to provide support on a prime contract that offers training and data science expertise. This position is located in Reston, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the customer's data science cadre's onboarding and training
• Maintain and update data science tools and code

Required Skills:

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in data science
• Proficient in programming with Python and constructing complex multi-data source queries with SQL
• Experience with general Linux computing, Conda, Git, and using Jupyter Notebooks
• Ability and willingness to debug code
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, along with experience working with multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience documenting code, Python packages, methodologies, and explaining complex technical issues to junior data scientists in graphical, verbal, or written formats
• US citizenship with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with Elastic Stack, Spark, FastAPI, Docker/Microservices
• Understanding of ETL processes, APIs, and certificates

Pay Range: $79,996.80 - $290,004.00

Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed or implied final compensation for this job opening. Determination of official compensation relies on several factors including level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
