Data Scientist

We are seeking candidates who possess a TS/SCI clearance with Intel Polygraph for an exciting opportunity. The selected individual will recommend changes to applications and databases, modernization options for data management, and ensure the optimal operation of enterprise database systems. Below are the details regarding the role's responsibilities and requirements.

Job Duties:

• Recommend to the Sponsor:
  • Changes to current applications and databases based on Sponsor requirements.
  • Modernization strategies for data hosting, cleansing, transport, exposure, and ingestion at an enterprise scale, focusing on performance, security, and cost.
  • Enhancements to current data systems technology and processes.
• Manage data access authorizations and ensure compliance with enterprise-approved user attributes.
• Provide operations and maintenance of databases within the cloud infrastructure.
• Support purchasing, engineering, and architecture activities related to applications and databases.
• Execute development, design, and creation of database systems for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Ensure smooth and secure operation of the Sponsor's enterprise database systems.
• Collaborate with team members, external stakeholders, and data stewards to assess the current state of Sponsor data.
• Build optimized data models for reporting from a data warehouse.

Required Skills:

• Experience with:
  • Oracle, PostgreSQL, and modern database technologies.
  • Tableau, COGNOS, and related reporting technologies.
  • Testing and quality assurance of developed solutions within the Oracle data tier.
  • Developing and modifying data structures and load routines for analytics.
  • Working with relational data tiers, including data cleansing and processing.
  • Creating views, triggers, and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services environments, including RDS, S3, etc.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with:
  • IMMUTA data policy.
  • A variety of data repository types (relational, NoSQL, distributed processing framework).
  • Creating and interfacing with REST APIs.

Eligibility Requirements:

• MUST be a US Citizen with a U.S. Government clearance - Intel with Polygraph.
• Must have an active TS-SCI with poly. No sponsorships or upgrades are available.
• Submissions without this requirement will not be considered. H1-B holders will not be accepted.
