The Data Scientist works with a team of data scientists, business intelligence analysts, and data engineers contributing independently to solve business problems. The ideal candidate has a depth of knowledge in quantitative analytic methods, data management, visualization, and programming skills suitable to drive data-driven decisions. This position requires independent research, model development, models implementation, and validates algorithms (predictive and prescriptive) to analyze diverse sources of data to achieve targeted outcomes. As a Data Scientist, You Will:

• Analyze large, structured, and unstructured datasets in cloud environments, utilizing services like Snowflake, AWS S3, or Google Cloud Storage.
• Use complex quantitative and analytical techniques to accelerate profitable growth and customer engagement, unlocking value across all functional areas of business.
• Independently build, test, validate, and deploy machine learning and AI models using cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake).
• Design and implement data visualizations to communicate complex ideas and influence strategic business decisions.
• Complete assigned deliverables with limited oversight, drawing insights from disparate data sources.
• Partner with colleagues on the Data & Enablement team, providing coaching and reviewing work produced.
• Oversee the work of Associate Data Scientists, providing training and guidance.

Additional Skills and Competencies Required:

• Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate with both business and IT leaders.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical and predictive modeling concepts, machine learning approaches, clustering and classification techniques, and recommendation and optimization algorithms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, GCP) and advanced skills in Python and SQL.
• Proficient in visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau, with effective communication skills through data visualizations, written and oral presentations.
• Team leading, mentorship, and project management experience.

Education:

• Masters in Quantitative, Analytical, STEM fields with 5-6 years of experience in data science, or
• Ph.D. in Quantitative, Analytical, STEM fields with up to 2 years of experience.

Required Experience:

• 5-6 years experience in Quantitative, Analytical, STEM fields.
• 5-6 years experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Artificial Intelligence.
• 5-6 years programming experience in Python, PySpark, R, or Scala.

Preferred Experience:

• 6-9 years experience in Quantitative, Analytical, STEM fields.
• Experience in Banking/Financial Services and marketing/consumer analytics.
• Experience in libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Experience in Deep Learning Modeling, NLP/LLM, and/or Transactional Data Categorization.
