Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience working with large data sets in Hadoop, AWS, Azure, or GCP
• 3 years of experience with statistical and data mining tools and methods
• 3 years of experience with supervised models (e.g., regression, neural networks) and unsupervised techniques (e.g., clustering, PCA, SVMs)
• 3 years of experience working with SQL
• 3 years of experience working in a UNIX environment
• 3 years of experience in a scripting language (e.g., BASH)
• 3 years of experience in Python and a strongly typed language (e.g., C++, Java)
• 3 years of experience with statistical packages
• 3 years of experience providing predictive and prescriptive analytics in a business setting
• Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Advanced understanding of data visualization libraries and statistical methodologies for modeling and business analytics

Job Summary:
As the Data Scientist, you'll be responsible for:

• Performing exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and predictive modeling to provide actionable insights for business leaders.
• Delving into large data sets of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data to discover hidden knowledge and develop methods to leverage that knowledge.

Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include:

• Analyze, manipulate, and process large data sets.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive statistical models.
• Identify methods for continuous and automated statistical testing to enhance model predictability.
• Develop machine learning algorithms and apply feature selection algorithms.
• Utilize sampling techniques and statistical performance metrics to evaluate models.
• Create visualizations to convey results and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
• Identify business problems and propose solutions through data analysis.
• Test, validate, and reformulate models to ensure accurate predictions.
• Communicate analyses and conclusions clearly to all audiences.
• Advise project teams on application improvements and develop best practices for modeling.
• Drive the collection of new data and refine existing data sources.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams and mentor associate data scientists.
