Compensation: Starting at 100K - Based on experience. Summary CSI Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. This role will be integral in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. The Data Scientist will focus on creating insights and analytics using SQL/Snowflake and Power BI, contributing to the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) for our proprietary Sales CRM, workflow and process analytics, pharmacy analytics, and patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and a passion for healthcare.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as necessary):

  • Comply with Company Core Values and Core Competencies
  • Utilize SQL and Snowflake to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize data and communicate key insights
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within data to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and track KPIs related to Sales CRM, workflow processes, pharmacy operations, and patient outcomes
  • Implement automated reporting and alert systems to monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights
  • Assist in the design and development of data-driven features for CSI Pharmacy's proprietary Sales CRM application
  • Analyze operational workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize business processes
  • Utilize patient outcomes data to identify improvement strategies for healthcare results
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models to predict sales trends, patient outcomes, and operational efficiencies
  • Continuously monitor model performance for accuracy and relevance
  • Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Operations, IT, Clinical) to understand data needs and provide analytical support
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ensure data integrity and implement best practices in data governance and quality control
  • Document data processes, workflows, and methodologies to maintain transparency
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in data science, analytics, and healthcare
  • Participate in professional development opportunities

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following:

  • Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, able to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Required in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or a related role, preferably within the healthcare or pharmacy industry
