We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas or take over sponsorship at this time. About the role: As an Analyst or Data Scientist for Machine Learning Operations, you will be one of Enova's most valuable team members. You will develop, enhance, and deploy software that helps us build and deploy our models critical to our business, facilitating the transition from an idea to a production endpoint. You will build and maintain tools that enable us to construct models faster, ensure their functionality, and scale them accordingly, ultimately reducing time and friction at all points of the modeling lifecycle.

At times, you may be asked to conduct ad hoc analysis using statistical and financial tools to recommend improvements for operational strategies. You will demonstrate the ability to interpret and organize data, communicate it effectively to cross-functional teams to solve business problems, provide requirements, and support implementation, ensuring you can self-drive the execution and deployment of those tools. You must be curious, humble, eager to learn, and willing to grow, as those who succeed at Enova operate with ownership and initiative.

Enova's Analytics team consists of over 100 quantitative professionals dedicated to using the latest cutting-edge techniques to drive business value. We are a shared service for the entire company and operate in four core Analytics workgroups. We predominantly use Python for our Machine Learning Operations, and also utilize R, SQL, SAS, and Mathematica for our model building.

Requirements:

  • Advanced programming skills for data analysis (Python) and proficiency with other modeling languages (R, SAS, Mathematica) a plus.
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL).
  • Strong knowledge of statistical/econometric modeling.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.

Benefits & Perks:

  • Hybrid work model: in-office from Tuesday to Thursday, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance including mental health benefits.
  • 401(k) matching plus a Roth option (for U.S. based employees only).
  • PTO & paid holidays off, sabbatical program (for eligible roles), and summer hours (for eligible roles).
  • Paid parental leave and DEI groups such as B.L.A.C.K. @ Enova, HOLA @ Enova, Women @ Enova, Pride @ Enova, South Asians @ Enova, APEX @ Enova, and Parents @ Enova.
  • Employee recognition and rewards program, charitable matching, and a paid volunteer day.
  • Plus so much more!
