Data Scientist - DoD

Heartland Consulting is actively searching for highly motivated individuals with an expansive background in RStudio and Tableau to support our government client. This role involves generating and maintaining comprehensive documents, papers, studies, presentations, and analytic scenarios to accomplish the priorities and goals of the organization and Air Staff.

Requirements:

• Generate and maintain effective documentation and deliverables, ensuring quality control for staff packages monthly and completing staff actions.
• Provide quarterly recommended Program Management Review schedules and approval processes for required deliverables.
• Demonstrate proficiency with government-owned readiness reporting, prediction, and analysis software, and programs within 45 days of the performance start date.
• Assist in preparing documentation for briefings and conferences related to the ANG Readiness Enterprise, analyzing readiness reports from DRRS across over 1,270 ANG units, and evaluating key components such as personnel, force structure, funding, logistics, and training.
• Maintain skills in a cross-section of Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) analytic tools, specifically RStudio and Tableau, while employing statistical analysis techniques.
• Support the Readiness Division in training and educating ANG members on readiness reporting systems and ensuring data accuracy.
• Conduct detailed research and analyses to support the development of implementation plans, executive reports, and ongoing projects while analyzing operational readiness challenges.
• Lead data gathering and analysis in alignment with changing conditions and operational environments to meet readiness requirements.
• Provide in-depth analytic and evaluative skills in the collection and dissemination of readiness information to leadership, responding to requests for analysis in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Top Secret Clearance
• Extensive knowledge (5 years) of RStudio and Tableau
