The Role

As a Data Engineer at EDO, you will join a team of talented Data Engineers working closely with Data Scientists to build out our next-generation Ad EnGage data pipeline. This pipeline measures and optimizes the effectiveness of advertising by combining and analyzing various sources of advertising occurrence data, advertising outcome data, identity resolution data, and other types of data. Our clients utilize these insights to make critical business decisions regarding their advertising strategy. You will work with large data sets (trillions of rows and hundreds of TB of data) using a modern tech stack centered on AWS, Airflow, DBT, and Snowflake.

What We Are Looking For

  • Production experience building complex data pipelines
  • A self-driven individual who eagerly takes ownership of projects in a startup environment
  • Good working knowledge of:
    • Data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift)
    • Cloud computing (e.g., AWS)
    • ETL/data pipeline technologies (e.g., Airflow, DBT)
  • A minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years of data engineering experience
  • Proficiency with SQL and a scripting language (e.g., Python, Ruby)
  • A strong understanding of software engineering practices, principles, and fundamentals
  • Able to balance engineering considerations with business considerations
  • Previous industry experience working with TV or other advertising data is a plus

  • In compliance with New York and California Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $130,000-190,000. The salary information is a general guideline only, as actual compensation may vary based on various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, key skills, training, and business considerations.
