This role will have a Hybrid Work from Home schedule. The candidate would need to live in Texas near one of our locations and will be required to travel to the Frost San Antonio Texas (One Frost Corporate Campus) office when needed. We will assist with relocation cost reimbursement.

Who You Are: As a Data Engineer III - Business Intelligence, you will lead the development and implementation of reporting and analytics dashboards, playing a key role in designing and building business intelligence solutions. You’ll use your strong problem-solving skills to ensure optimal system performance, and you believe in effective communication, addressing potential problems and solutions to complex issues.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop views/reports/cubes to support complex and critical BI solutions.
  • Perform Ad Hoc data requests for business users and Executive Management.
  • Collaborate with BI management, business sponsors, and Executive Management on key initiatives.
  • Work with BI/Data Warehouse Analysts and ETL developers to understand requirements, data sources, and transformation rules.
  • Establish standards for design, coding, and testing of deliverables.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies and standards.
  • Provide guidance to other Data Engineers as needed.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies in data analytics.
  • Act with integrity, caring, and excellence to achieve all-win outcomes.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Developer, or in a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Cognos Analytics and Tableau tools.
  • Advanced understanding of database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and schema design.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
