About The Role: DAS42 has multiple Data Engineer Consultant openings. As a key member of our consulting staff, you will ensure high delivery standards within an engagement team, working on various technologies and projects tailored to client needs. The ideal candidate is eager to learn new skills, engage in the pre-sales process, collaborate with peers, and tackle complex technical problems.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop system engineering and data integrations based on client needs.
• Implement data warehouse solutions, ETL pipelines, and business intelligence reporting tools.
• Build data models around use cases to capture client KPIs, data transformations, and requirements, including validation and testing.
• Support, maintain, and document clients’ data environments while collaborating on project deliverables, independently or within a larger consulting team.
• Work within a project management framework (e.g., Agile) to meet objectives and understand the impact of your work across organizations.
• Advise clients on optimizing their data environments for efficiency and effectiveness, clarifying management objectives through data solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop Thought Leadership, workable POCs, and support client discussions about DAS42’s capabilities.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-7 years of experience in a data analytics or engineering role.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL; experience in consulting/professional services is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with business visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI) and data warehousing, particularly with Snowflake.
• Experience with AWS and Google Cloud ecosystems (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift).
• Prior experience in the Media & Entertainment or Telecom sectors is preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research) or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering).
• A passion for solving problems and quickly assimilating technical information.

More about the position:

• Anticipated Travel: 10% of the time.
• Location: Denver or NYC preferred, with consideration for all qualified candidates in the United States.
• Base Salary Range: $80-130k (salary based on experience and location).
