Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer for a duration of 12+ months, with possible extensions. This role will help empower clients and customers within Asset & Wealth Management to achieve their financial goals. Our advisor-led wealth management businesses offer financial planning, investment management, banking, and comprehensive advice to various clients, including ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, and corporations. We also provide digital solutions that help customers save and invest, combining the entrepreneurial spirit of a start-up with over 150 years of experience. We serve millions of customers, leveraging innovative technology, data, and design.

Must Have:

• 4+ years of experience.
• Strong software engineering experience with in-depth knowledge of Python, Scala, Java, or equivalent.
• Experience in distributed data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, EMR) for building efficient, large-scale data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, modeling, and infrastructure.
• Experience with SQL and optimizing queries.
• Background in continuous Data Streaming/Data Distribution.

Pluses:

• Experience building scalable applications on the Cloud (preferably AWS).
• Experience with stream-processing applications (Spark Streaming, Apache Flink, Kafka).
• Experience in Informatica ETL.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
