Job Description: Metas Solutions has an 'immediate opening' for an experienced Data Engineer. This is a remote position with the possibility of working onsite in Atlanta, GA, in the future. The role involves facilitating the coordination and implementation of CDC's AI/ML strategy and enterprise AI/ML roadmap through project management activities, data science support, development, and dissemination of informational and training-related materials for internal and external partners, as well as coordination with CDC programs, governance bodies, and STLT partners.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively in a mid-size team of Sr. Data and AIML engineers.
• Develop data-centric applications alongside ML and Data Engineers.
• Provide software development expertise and hands-on technical skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Data Factory and PySpark.
• Experience in building data-centric applications with Databricks or Palantir.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 1+ years developing coding best practices and frameworks in Data Engineering and Machine Learning.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools, such as JIRA.
• Front-end development experience with Python Flask or similar technology.
• Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills.

Security Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (Public Trust 5) within a reasonable period.
