We care for the highest-need Medicaid recipients through a community-led model, building local partnerships with shelters, food pantries, and other community-based organizations to turn them into sites of care. As a support system for the community, we provide wraparound clinical services, up-skill CBO staff to become Community Health Workers, and utilize our proprietary data-driven technology platform, Arc, for care coordination. Through Medicaid MCOs, we provide healthcare for hard-to-reach, high-need individuals, while sharing healthcare dollars with community groups to expand their social support programs.

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to own data engineering outcomes for our Tech team. This role will empower decision-making with data, maintain data integrity and security, and enable scalability and agility. Your work will include ingesting data, building ETL pipelines, and creating services and tools for efficient data usage. Responsibilities include enhancing our data infrastructure, defining processes for data monitoring, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, engineers, and clinical leaders to define requirements and technical solutions.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain data processing pipelines, datasets, and solutions to support operational outcomes.
- Define and manage schedules and availability for data sets.
- Enhance infrastructure to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Act as in-house data expert, making recommendations regarding standards for code quality and timeliness.
- Architect cloud-based data infrastructure solutions to meet stakeholder needs.
- Develop systems to scale the team and achieve outcomes.

What You'll Need
- 4+ years of experience working with data pipelines, products, and complex data integrations.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment, preferably in a data-centric healthcare role.
- An undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with statistical modeling and knowledge of modern data infrastructure tools.
- Excellent technical vision and experience with products that automate complex workflows.
- Strong collaboration skills and clear communication.
- Passion for helping individuals facing complex needs such as homelessness and severe mental illness.

Tech Stack
- Experience managing large Looker deployments or similar tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses: Snowflake.
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in object-oriented scripting languages: Golang, Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc.
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools like Airflow.
