We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Data Product Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to identify their data needs and translate those requirements into actionable tasks for our data engineering team. You will help shape the development of various data products, including data marts, schemas, ETL logic, reporting tools, dashboards, data science models, and ad hoc analyses, all aimed at driving business growth. The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 + Bonus. Pay offered may vary within the posted range based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand data needs, ensuring alignment with business strategy and defining clear requirements for data products.
  • Product Development Support: Work closely with data engineers to prioritize and manage the development of data products, including data marts, schemas, ETL processes, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Documentation & User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data product specifications and participate in UAT to validate data products against business requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing data product offerings and processes, providing feedback to improve the overall data product lifecycle.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years in a data-related role or product management, preferably within a data-focused environment. Experience as a data analyst or data engineer is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with data concepts, databases, and data visualization tools. Data profiling, attention to detail, ad hoc analysis, and basic understanding of ETL processes and data modeling are essential. Ability to create SQL or Python scripts preferred.
  • Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
