As an Associate Data Engineer, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, data architecture, and data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software architects, and business stakeholders, to ensure that data is accessible, accurate, and optimized for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Development: Assist in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources.
  • Data Warehousing: Support the design and maintenance of scalable and efficient data warehouse solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient data models and solutions.
  • Performance Tuning & Automation: Help optimize performance for data warehouses and pipelines, and implement automation processes and monitoring solutions to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Data Governance: Assist in establishing and enforcing data quality, security, and governance protocols to meet compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 0-2 years in data engineering or related fields.
  • Data Warehousing Knowledge: Basic understanding of solutions like Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Google BigQuery.
  • Proficiency with Databricks: Familiar with Databricks for data engineering, ETL processes, and analytics.
  • Cloud Platforms: Basic experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java for data processing and pipeline development.
  • SQL Skills: Ability to write SQL queries and work with relational databases.
  • Automation & Orchestration: Basic knowledge of tools like Apache Airflow or Databricks Workflows.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills focused on delivering scalable and reliable data solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with modern data lakehouse solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and fast-paced environments.

COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION:

We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and experience, with a starting range of $64,900.00 - $86,533.70. Team members are incentive eligible based on contribution, company performance, and individual results, with a targeted bonus plan of 5% annually.
