We are seeking a skilled professional to support a government customer at MacDill AFB, FL. The ideal candidate will build advanced AI/ML models to integrate with existing architecture and framework, delivering algorithms for predictive analytics, prescriptive analytics, forecasting, and free text queries in an AI/ML Decision Support Tool. Responsibilities:

  • Develop AI models through machine learning algorithms and deep learning neural networks to integrate with the Command Common Operating Picture data repository, enhancing near real-time decision-making for logisticians.
  • Collaborate with the Command Staff to incorporate Cyber, Knowledge, and Information Management disciplines into AI/ML workflows, supporting the Decision-Making Process.
  • Build predictive models leveraging extensive datasets, demonstrating deep expertise in machine learning and deep learning algorithms and frameworks.
  • Establish data ingestion and transformation infrastructure to interface with data repository application program interfaces (APIs) and ensure AI/ML models meet enterprise standards for data sharing with joint enterprise systems.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or related).
  • 8+ years of industry experience in predictive modeling, data science, and analysis. (Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered, including professional/military expertise.)
  • Proficient in working with LOGCOP.
  • Active DOD Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

Physical Requirements / Travel:

  • Ability to work in an office environment at a desk and computer.
  • May require travel (~10%) to conferences, program reviews, industry meetings, or other collaborative events, primarily within the continental United States.
