Analytics Engineer

Anduril’s Analytics team focuses on modeling our internal data into reusable entities that generalize Anduril's operations. From those entities, we build workflows, dashboards, and metrics that enhance decision-making. You will work with stakeholders to understand operational functions and create the digital twin of our operations. Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of Anduril’s ontology in domains such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, People, and Sustainment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to collect requirements and write secure, timely, and trustworthy data models.
- Identify data-driven problem-solving opportunities and work proactively with the organization to implement solutions.
- Act as a trusted resource for Anduril leadership in optimizing organizational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in analytics-focused roles (analytics engineer, data engineer, analyst/consultant) with a strong engineering background.
- Motivated by Anduril’s mission to solve significant defense challenges.
- Familiarity with data modeling literature, such as authors like Kimball or Inmon.
- Energetic self-starter who values business impact over perfect data models.
- Experience in cross-functional projects with a mix of technical requirements and user-focused workflows.
- Expertise in SQL with proficiency in Python or other programming languages.
- Familiarity with data stack tools including dbt, Redshift, Looker/Tableau, and Palantir Foundry.
- Empathetic approach, eager to understand users' perspectives.
- U.S. Persons status is required for accessing export-controlled data.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

U.S. Salary Range:
$122,000—$183,000 USD. The salary for this role is based on various compensation factors, including work experience, education, skills, and business considerations.
