We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer who possesses strong technical skills along with effective communication and collaboration abilities. This role requires a solid foundation in data management and specialized expertise in Azure cloud computing. The Azure Data Engineer will be responsible for creating and managing scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and optimizing data processing performance. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software developers to deliver the necessary data for their functions. We have an excellent opportunity for you.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data storage solutions on Azure.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for integration and processing.
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy through testing and validation.
  • Optimize data processing performance through tuning and monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain data models and schemas.
  • Ensure adherence to data security and privacy requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams to document and improve SDLC best practices in cloud data.
  • Engage with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers for project/sprint planning and estimation of technical tasks.
  • Uphold the mission and values of Monogram Health in all activities.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience in designing and developing cloud-based analytics solutions with expertise in:
    • Azure Data Factory
    • Azure Synapse
    • Azure SQL
    • Azure Data Lake
    • Azure App Service
  • Working knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other data query languages.
  • Familiarity with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.
  • Understanding of data modeling and schema design principles, with strong experience in data warehouse modeling (Kimball, Inmon).
  • Ability to design and build data pipelines using API and streaming ingestion methods (desirable).
  • Knowledge of DevOps processes (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Thorough understanding of Azure Cloud Infrastructure offerings.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
